Go Green Bag Pattern

 The Go Green Bag pattern is a great ecological alternative to plastic and paper bags for shopping!  The ties give you options such as fastening on the sides to make this bag smaller or tie it in the front for extra room.  This pattern includes an additional smaller inside bag on a leash for your cell phone, cash, keys, etc. Finished size is 19" x 17" and 17" x 15 1/2".

Materials Needed:

• Exterior large bag, small bag & leash - 7/8 yd
• Lining large and small bag - 7/8 yd
• Ties - 1/4 yd
• Batting White & Natural - 2/3 yd
• Handles for either bag - Cotton belting 1 1/4" wide x 1 1/2 yd
• Fabric - 3/8 yd
• Batting 1 1/4" x 47"
• Small bag closure - button or 1 inch of 1/2" Velcro
• Fabric & Plastic Mesh Bag - Plastic Mesh - 1/2 yd
• Exterior large & small bag & leash - 1 yd
• Lining small bag & ties - 1/2 yd
• Batting White & Natural - 10" x 14"
