Roosterrific Tote Bag Pattern

The Roosterrific Tote Bag and Wall Quilt pattern use simple fusible web applique and easy piecing to make a unique tote!  Finished size for the tote is 13" x 18" x 5" and for the matching wall hanging is 17" x 21".

Materials Needed: (Fabric is approximately 44" wide)

• Green print - 1 1/2 yd for Tote, 3/4 yd for wall quilt
• 5 different Tan fabrics - 1/8 yd each
• 6 to 8 coordinating prints - Scraps or total of 1/4 yd
• Rooster Fabrics - 9" square of brown for body
• Scraps of hand-dyed for bright prints
• Sun Fabrics - 6" squares of gold, orange, and red
• 1" cotton webbing - 4 yds for Tote
• Batting - 2 - 20" x 22" rectangles for Tote
• 1 - 20" x 22" rectangle for wall quilt
• Fusible Web
• Button for eye of rooster
• Black thread for buttonhold stitching
