Lantern Bag Pattern

The Lantern Bag by Four Corners Designs can expand and show off contrasting fabric within the pleats.  There are instructions for 2 sizes and there are 4 inside pockets.  The SMALL finished size is 9 inches by 10 inches.  The LARGE finished size is 15 inches by 15 inches.

Materials Needed (42 - 44 inch fabrics):

SMALL

• Main fabric for bag, pockets & straps - 3/4 yd
• Accent fabric for front panels & lining - 1/2 yd
• 1 inch wide belting - 1 1/8 yd
• Midweight fusible interfacing, 45 inches wide - 5/8 yd

LARGE

• Main fabric for bag, pockets & straps - 1 1/4 yd
• Accent fabric for front panels & lining - 1 yd
• 2 inch wide belting - 2 yd
• Midweight fusible interfacing, 45 inches wide - 1 yd
