Millie's Market Day Pattern

Millie's Market Day Pattern is a practical (and fun!) tote bag pattern that has instructions for an applique, side panels, and an embroidery design.  Finished size is 18" wide x 12" high.

Materials Needed:

• 14" fabric for applique background and handle lining
• 12" fabric for side panels, pocket and applique
• 14" fabric for top and bottom bag bands, lining bands, handle and button loops as well as applique
• 14" fabric for handles and decorative strips and applique
• 6" square of additional fabric for applique (pink flower centers)
• 12" fabric for lining
• 22" Iron-on Pellon (batting or wadding of choice)
• Fixe - 1" buttons for bag and bag handles
• Two different colored DMC stranded embroidery threads to match your fabrics
• Glue baste it or similar for holding applique in place
