The Sweetie Purse Pattern *

The Sweetie pattern is perfect for either those who like a smaller bag or teens.  The outside pocket allows contrasting fabric - use your imagination!

The gusset pattern pieces come in 2 sizes, giving you the option of making a wider handbag. and there are options for interior pockets.   Finished size is approximately 10"W (at bottom of handbag-widest point) x 5"H x 2 1/2"D for smaller bag or 4" D for the larger bag.

Materials Needed:

• Outside Pockets and zipper placket- 1/4 yard (for railroad fabric use actual layout)
• Body, Gusset, and Strap- 3/4 yard for long strap, 1/2 yard for short strap
• Lining- 1/2 yard (will also line outside pockets)
• Interfacing- 1 1/3 yard (note: if you are using lightweight fabric, choose a heavier interfacing. For home decor weight fabric, use a light to medium interfacing.)
