Bow Bag Pattern *

The Bow Bag pattern by Monica Poole has easy to follow step by step instructions to create a purse with an oval base and boned side seams that keep the bag upright and stable.

Materials Needed:

• SMALL BAG (8" x 12")Main fabric - Fat 1/4
• Lining and bow - 50cm (5/8 yd)
• Medium weight iron on Pellon (H640) - 35cm (3/8 yd)
• 12mm wide rigiline boning - 2.2m (2 1/2 yd)
• 1 button
• LARGE BAG (10" x 16") Main fabric 40cm (1/2 yd)
• Lining and bow - 70cm (3/4 yd)
• Medium weight iron on Pellon - 50cm (5/8 yd)
• 12mm wide rigiline boning - 2/5m (2 1/2 yd)
• 1 button
